Pages from Kate's Class

I am taking Kate Johnson's newest class. It's An Artist's Journal. It's really been terrific and better than I had even hoped. These are a few of the pages I have done during the class.
The brown pages are colored pencil work. My Sarah was a blue pen sketch on a tablet which I tore out and glued into my journal. The other is a watercolor attempt.
If she offers the class again I highly recommend it. It's not only been informative but it's been a lot of fun.

  4. I am jealous. I have been pondering taking an on line class but I just couldnt decide if it would be worth the expense and then what to take. But the class you are in sounds wonderful.

  8. That does look like you are having fun! I love the brushes. I'm afraid of sketching... maybe a class would be a good thing. Thanks for the inspiration!

  9. These are great! I like the old brushes and the rolling pin! This inspires me to want to draw all my old brushes that should be thrown out - I can't part with them either! Yours look so realistic - looks like I could pick 'em right up off the paper!! Great detail! Take care!

  10. I have to agree with the others. All are great, but the brushes and rolling pen would be my favorites. With the watercolors in next. Great job!
