During Laure Ferlita's
Foundation To Journaling class I made a calendar page. Everyday during July I put a red circle around the date if I did anything artwise. I also wrote down the main thing I did. I managed to do something everyday! It feels good to see every day marked off.
Mostly I beaded flowers and worked on paintings for my son's birthday. I'll be posting about both of those but since he hasn't received his gift yet I don't want to take the chance of him seeing what I did yet. Stay tuned. Today is his birthday so I'll be posting in a couple of days about it.
This month I probably won't be able to do art every single day since I'll be visiting family and doing lots of things they want to do but I will try to do as much as I can.
If you want to take her Foundations class you'll find a new one starting up tomorrow. Hurry over and sign up. It was a super class.
That calendar sure has a lot of red circles! :-)) Congrats on meeting your goal. Hope your son has a very happy birthday.
ReplyDeleteHi Timaree -- Well done, every day in July, I am so impressed!
ReplyDeleteVery eye-catching! I must say though, being a chinese, I am always drawn to bamboo art ^^ I am so happy it's there!
ReplyDeleteOooh. I nearly signed up yesterday when Betty posted her sunflower cover. I really want to do the course but don't want to jump in without careful thought (need time etc to do it properly). So Laure said she'd keep me updated on new courses but it would probably be the new year. I'll have to curb my patience for once!
ReplyDeleteVery impressed by your calendar and your motivation!
Lovely. The color poping is great. Congrats too!Look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteWell done! My calendar wouldn't be near that full! I like the bamboo border, and also two down from that. That looks like it has a little Guatemalan influence.
ReplyDeletecongrats on filling that calendar! it was fun to see your pages!
