Well I have a third page done for the idea of fake. What do you think? Is the milk we drink today real? I used Pitt pen and gouache to do this page.
I am working on my first lesson for the virtual trip to England I am taking with Laure Ferlita. I'll post it as soon as I get it done.

A virtual trip would be fake too, since you are not really there? I love your fake journal idea of including things that are not the real deal. Great page about milk!
ReplyDeleteYour pages for the fake journal are awesome! Love the background and style, and the drawings are great!
ReplyDeleteGreat pages, colors and ideas for your fake journal. Very clever indeed. Look forward to following your journey.
ReplyDeleteLove your "fake" journal, it's a kick! Thanks for your remark about black making pink a grown up color, you are so right! Ellie
ReplyDeleteHi! Just a comment on your question on 'real milk'..I was raised on a dairy and no the milk we buy isn't like real milk out of a cow!:) My 96 yr old mother still milks a cow in the summertimes so we still get raw milk!!
ReplyDeleteGreat fun/idea on your 'fake' journal!! Aren't we having fun in England?!~Sherry
Love the fake journal idea and the background colors are wonderful, as are the drawings!! As for your question, I don't think most milk is "real" these days. I only drink organic milk, but even that gets processed! The possibilities for more "fake" pages in the food industry are endless!
ReplyDeleteAh... I'm finally catching on to your fake journal theme - instead of a continuous storyline, you're "reporting" about fake items. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI grew up with cows. the milk we buy in the store is nothing like real milk. It's colored water.
