Surgery Over

Hi everyone. My husband came through his surgery just fine. No heart attack, no extra blood loss even though it was described as a difficult extraction. Too much info? That's okay 'cause that's all there is. Now we are on to healing and then me getting back to more of my art work!

This page was made with torn paper (and a bit of cutting) collage. I did it while waiting in the waiting room during the 5 hours of surgery. No, it didn't take 5 hours to make the page. That only took about 15 minutes - about the quickest ever. I had to take the photo with my cell phone so it's a bit blurry.

  1. It would have taken ME 5 hours to focus enough to do the collage....great news with your hubby! May everything heal quickly and properly and life get back to normal.

  4. Wonderful news! I'm sure you will be a willing and able-bodied nurse and still be able to get some pages done. I love this collage - is the dog a Sheltie or Collie? Hard to tell, but the nose looks more Collie. What a cutie!

  11. Glad things are going well. Just went through medical issue month myself. I plan on drawing day one with tubes, wires drips, etc. and sending it to ICU critical care with an afer sketch of walking out of hospital 1 week later. Can be scary!

  16. This is just terrific news! My dad lived to be in his 90's and had only 1 kidney almost his entire life. Isn't it great that they come in pairs! Hugs to you both - nancy
